Falls is the second highest year-round waterfall in the nation.
The falls are located 30 miles east
of Portland along the scenic Columbia River Gorge highway. Multnomah
Falls Lodge, located a the base of the falls, was built in 1925
and features a visitor center, restaurant and gift shop.
Vista
House
Vista House is an interpretive center and the most photographed
icon of the Columbia River Gorge. Located on the western end of
the Historic Columbia River Highway at Crown Point State Park,
Vista House was built in 1916-1918 as a memorial to Oregon pioneers
and as a comfort station for those traveling on the Historic Columbia
River Highway. The octagonal stone structure towers 733 feet above
the Columbia River and is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places.

wind surfers from around the world. This town of 4,500, located
60 miles east of Portland, includes many art galleries restaurants.

tasting and farm and garden tours.
